What a letdown. After reading all the great reviews we were so excited . My go to sushi sashimi is typically in the $20s. Here... its $36 plus a $1 to change the roll which is equal value on regular menu. I figured the high cost wouldn't matter thinking itwould be high quality. It was average grade. Sliced extremely thin . Supermarkets give more than this. Of the 4 pieces sushinone were salmon which is standard. They double up on fluke.never seen that before. I wish id taken a pic. I couldn't believe I was able to find such high quality sushi right here in Oceanside! It is a small restaurant, but the staff... is amazing and friendly. The sushi is the highest grade you can find anywhere around here. This is not an "All You Can Eat" typeplace, it is more expensive than you would spend at another local Japanese/sushi restaurant, but it is well worth it. They evenhave fresh Toro on the menu, and salmon belly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Tuna Avocado Chips as an appetizer, and the Tuna andSalmon Fans Rolls. I will definitely be back again soon! Read more
Visited this establishment many times and honestly I think it is the best place that I found so far in Long Island near Long... Beach area, I?m not a fan of rolls, but I do love fresh sushi such as uni, toro and such, and so far I can honestly say thislittle gem is comparable in freshness and quality of their raw fish to some of the top places in nyc. So far this place becameour most favorite that we visit almost weekly. Highly recommend to anyone who appreciates high quality sushi :) Read more
