They got me for the last time! I ordered 1 dozen of medium males. So disapponting when I poured the crabs out of the bag, only... the top 2-3 crabs had seasoning on them, the rest were plan Jane! The crabs had no flavor what so ever! All my crabs were aslight as a feather AND 4 of them were not edible at all! Two of them smelled like ammonia and 2 of them were beyond mushy! I'vepurchased crabs from them on and off for over a 7 year period. The first 2 years were great but I don't know what happened afterthat. I went there today (4th of July) prior to opening put in an order for a bushel of crabs and was told to come back at 11:45... because they didn't start cooking until 11 am when they opened. I get there at 11:45 and was told to wait 10 more minutesbecause they were not ready. I go back in after 15 minutes paid my $295 and got the box. The box was warm and I called backedimmediately was told that they could have been sitting and was probably ready when I arrived at 11:45. I get back home which isin DC only to have a bushel of refrigerated crabs. So disappointing! Old crabs and not given an option as to if I wanted topurchase them or not. Never again! Crab Galley crabs were fantastic, not over cooked, not dried out, they were hot and the box steamed up my truck windows. The... crabs were seasoned very well I bought a bushel of the jumbo $500.00 the box was filled to the top and the crabs were fat andsweet. I will be back, Crab Galley can be your go to spot. Called in an order 3 hours in advance of pickup. Came at time of pickup and order was not ready for an additional 35 minutes. On... top of that ordered oysters as part of my order and only one popped. When we popped the others they smelled like rancid fish.Definitely did not eat. Fried Shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. Asked for steamed shrimp to be steamed without old bay and oldbay on side. Shrimp was doused in old bay during cook and received non on side. Rock fish was soggy. Really disappointing experience. Got a dozen crabs for take out. Only 5 of them were good, the rest of them were mushy and 2... were rotten. Only the top 2 crabs had both claws, the rest only had 1 and there were no loose ones at the bottom of the bag. Areal waste of money. Only positive thing I can say is the seasoning was good. Read more
