We dined in with a pretty good sized group and they were super nice, had very fast service, and good food. It's an older... restaurant/building but clean! Read more

It's been a while since I've been, and this is about my experience my first time back in that long while. I've always liked... Ligori's. I've been a customer since the 90's. I became a patron of Morellis in Layton when they opened more so until theyclosed. So I'm back. With that being said, I'm happy but at the same time a bit disappointed. Plastic-ware and dixie plates?Styrofoam drink cups? I get it if it was to go, but in the dining room? And the covid scare is losing steam in the media so thewhole Salt and pepper and condiments in the paper need to just go. And when did the greedy come in? Only one refill on yourbeverage and then another charge of you should need more? I spent $60 and nothing has really changed or impressed me to justifythat obnoxious uptick in prices. The staff looked dirty, and they were lounging around in the dining room at a table next tothe register, with a few of them staring creepily at the guests as we ate. While our server was nice, i would've much ratherhave had the 15 minute conversion with the person i went with than with her and would've appreciated it more if she would've putin our order sooner. I will continue to go back. But i doubt I'll ever dine in again. Read more

This is a little Mom and Pop place. Not anything fancy. Food is served on paper plates. Short staffed like most places these... days. Just be patient until food arrives. My pizza was pretty good ???? Read more

Food was served on paper plates with plastic cutlery. Wait staff was not friendly at all. We got the pepperoni garlic bread and... it was soggy. The marinara sauce tasted like it came out of a can. It really had no flavor. The garlic bread was extremelygreasy. I will never be back. The layton location was so much better Read more

They wrote on their Google My Business account, ?unpretentious parlor,? and it is very true. The place didn?t feel Italian at... all. Actually, there was no real environment or vibe, but it was as expected from their claim. I ordered a half salad and theygave plenty of it. It was good but nothing beyond what I could have made myself, and came out on a plastic party plate. If youwant a simple salad, this will do just fine. We also got raviolis, and there were only four of them. Sauce wasn?t all thatamazing either and they were very overpriced for what they serve and they came out on a paper plate. This was the maindisappointment of our order. Now where they do shine was the pizza itself. The pizza was quite good, looked well made, and hadplenty of toppings. If it wasn?t on a paper plate, it could have been pretty impressive. If I go back, I will only order thepizza and nothing else. I will say I was pretty happy with the pizza, it?s the saving grace.
