So close to be a five star review with all the hype yet we had a wonderful experience. The service and staff was perfect! We... sat outside and seating is first come first serve. The original wait was about 1 hour but we got a table after 30 min ofwaiting. We decided to take a few minutes walk to Perkins Cove to kill time. Apps: French onion soup 5 star Escargot 3 star. Iknow butter is what makes this dish but wow it was drowning in it and other ingredients didn't get to shine through to balanceit out. It just tasted like snails with butter. My sister and I were having a girls short vacation away. We had dinner at this restaurant, reservation 5:30 09/29/2022.... Everything spectacular from start to finish. Free valet parking, valet came to car right away. Hostess wonderful, table was in aquiet corner, servers incredible and attentive. Food??fabulous. We live in RI and are lucky to have so many top notchrestaurants to choose from so it isn?t as if gourmet food is new to us. Spectacular! Bread delicious, sister ordered pork chopand I ordered pesto shrimp linguini. Flavors of both were incredible and portions huge for the quality and price. I ate what Ithought was much of my dish including 5 perfectly cooked shrimp and asked to take remaining home. I explained I would be storingit in our Inn fridge but then transporting to RI following morning. Server put it in lidded plastic container instead of normaltakeout box. When I returned to RI opened take out expecting a small portion?.got 2 more lunches out it and it contained anadditional 5 shrimp!
