Menu for Boccali Vineyards & Winery in Ojai, CA

Not family friendly. We came here today because they were holding an event for kids, a pumpkin patch and kids hay-maze were... quite literally a stones throw from the outdoor ?wine tasting? area which is on the grass, sectioned off with a rope.. therewere families everywhere and it seemed like a relaxed, casual outdoor environment and we were happy when staff helped my familyto be seated within this section to eat our pizza. But one member of staff, who was clearly very unhinged, suddenly becameextremely angry that my three year old and his friend were making too much noise, and were messing with the roped partition (Ishould add here, absolutely no damage was done....). What would have been appropriate is an initial, polite ?would you mindtrying to keep the noise down while in this area or perhaps move the kids were they can be loud and play? - with perhaps just alittle understanding about what it?s like to have three year olds on the grass outdoors. If it had been handled this way weprobably would have taken it upon ourselves to just respectfully move elsewhere with them, but she never did this and insteadwas very suddenly seething with rage. It?s a shame as it could have been handled differently, simply with less anger andscathing, and we would have left with no hard feelings. We won?t be back. Read more

Pure Ojai experience. Great food, wine, entertainment and people.

The pizza is delicious. Wish I could eat it (gluten elegy). I enjoyed the meat sauce eggplant parmesan. The strawberry shortcake... is worth a stomach ache!! Read more

Amazing venue. Food outstanding

Don't go here on a busy day unless you want to spend a loooong time there. Mother's day, 1 to 1 1/2 hour wait for a table, then... our order was completely screwed up. We got our 2 appetizers, and 2 salads, but our pizza and our scampi dish never showed upafter an hour of waiting. Wine is not great. Not recommended!!! There are a lot of better options in Ojai!
