I didn't know quite how to start this as this place is, in my opinion, is the best place in ojai to get amazing food with a... sense of serenity. I am by no means a spiritual man, but having a meal surrounded by the energy radiating in the food and musicand calm......it's priceless. Read more
we had a great lunch on the patio and enjoyed conversation with our server. we enjoyed the colorful flags and caring mood. ... this place seems very Ojai, almost magical. we enjoyed the sushi, dal, veg momos, aloo gobi, rice, noodles, salad, and soup. The ABSOLUTE WORST tempura I have ever ordered!!! If zeros stars was an option, it would be rated less than that. 1sr thing... wrong, I ordered 2 orders of VEGETABLE tempura, not SHRIMP tempura, yet was given Shrimp. Shrimp makes my stomach sick and I ama vegetarian. The 1st container I opened was soggy. The lid must have come off in the packing process. The 2nd container wasfine. Not sure what it is made with but the tempura batter is bitter/sour. The veggies were beyond greasy. I reair fried themand now have a puddle of grease in the fryer. I am sick to my stomach and unable to get the horrible greasy, bitter flavor outof my mouth!!! I am too sick to my stomach to try the TOFU curry that only has 1.5 piece of small tofu in it.
