Would definitely recommend Chareston's Restaurant located along the scenic canal area of Bricktown. The ambiance has a mellow,... relaxing vibe. A good place to go after a full day of exploring Bricktown without feeling touristy. The staff was friendly,professional, and attentive. The food we ate was very good. We started with the flavorful and spicy "Dynamite Shrimp" appetizerand then shared the (huge portion) chicken fried steak. The accompanying carrots were bright and not mushy, while the mashedpotatoes were just mushy enough! No room for dessert. The ribs were awesome. Sweet sauce and fall off the bone. I ate some of them with a fork since the meat fell right off. The... baked beans tasted more like Shiloh to me but the ribs were so good I didn?t care. They had the best staff. I told them howthey were working so good as a team.
