Through the company I work for I ordered food for 2 meetings. I hadn't ordered food before for a large group so I wasn't... exactly sure how much to order but with their guidance we didn?t have any food leftover worth mentioning. The order was correct. The items appeared to have been handled with care during delivery. The delivery was within a minute or... two of the delivery time listed when I ordered. I ordered at 5:20 and it was delivered at about 6:20. The price is a bit highfor delivery. My total for food and taxes was ~$20. Including a $5 tip I spent an additional $12 for the delivery. I would saythat delivery from this place is the equivalent of tipping two drivers. The fees are a bit too high for this to be a feasibledelivery service that I use on a regular basis. I could just not tip the driver and the cost of delivery would be reasonable,but I've been a delivery driver before and I know the drivers see little or no percentage of the delivery fees. I also did notcare for the phone call. I order delivery from Dominos a lot. I order from them because it is so easy to order online. I wasupset that I received a phone call after I placed an online order. They verified all of the information that I entered onlineand said the credit card payment was accepted. They told me the driver would need to see my CC. The driver did not request tosee anything or have me sign anything. The driver handed me the items, said thank you, and left. Delivery is all aboutconvenience. The more of a nuisance it becomes the less likely I am to do it. Due to the price and phone call I am unlikely touse this service again. I like that the items were delivered correctly and at the estimated time, but I dislike the price andphone call. I also liked that the driver just handed me my items and left. Read more
