We sat on the patio and it was lovely. Perfect blend of shade and sun options and a nice view of the lake and lighthouse. Our... waitress was very good and took great care of us. We all had sandwiches or wraps and they were good. My daughter enjoyed thefried okra. The only complaint was the music choice; lots of nasty language, more appropriate for a college bar than a familylunch by the lake. Read more
Went to Louie's after a softball game. It wasn't super busy and the server - I wish I remembered her name - greeted us and took... our drink order. We ordered a Southwest Burger, The American burger and a Taco Salad. All were great. The fries were shoestringand were also delicious. My daughter doesn't like fries so our waitress let her substitute them with fruit and even let herdecide what type of fruit to get - pineapple and strawberries! Let me just add something about our server - she was amazing!She is also an elementary teacher and is very personable and talkative. She let us know the best items to order and we chattedfor a bit of time about our softball tournament and something else that was going on in the restaurant. After dinner we went outto the lake to take a picture and she saw us out there getting ready to take a selfie and she offered to take the pic for us.She is awesome...and if you get her as your server you will know who I am talking about! Like all the other Louie's the food here is pretty good. I got the tinga tacos this time there and they were sized pretty well... but I guess only 2 tacos. However, everything was a bit more on the expensive size and seems a little more then what theyshould cost but you do get a great view of the lake.
