At this point if I could give her zero I would. Communication is absolutely horrible. She double booked and had the cancel our... tasting(30 days before my wedding) I?m still trying to get my deposit back since she did absolutely nothing for us and it hasbeen over a week now. She?s not even responding to my messages or phone calls now. Please do yourself a favor and heavilyresearch your vendors. I?m now out a caterer and $250 and only 2 weeks until my wedding. Read more
I didn't even use this company for catering because her communication was so poor, the owner of this company couldn't even... manage to reply to emails, phone calls and other messages to set up a tasting. It took her sometimes 2-3 days to respond,sometimes 7-10 days. After 4 weeks of trying to set something, I gave up and finally looked up reviews, sadly I wasn't surprisedother people had a similar experience with her poor communication skills. Read more
If I could give a half star I would. The food is actually really good, but the service is horrible. So bad in fact, that we... changed our vendor before our wedding and thank goodness we did. From the very beginning the communication was terrible...worse than terrible and it didn't get better. We continued to have issues and it was nightmare trying to get a detailed list ofwhat we wanted for our wedding, but she couldn't even supply that. We never signed a contract and now trying to get our depositback considering she did nothing for us but 2 tasting, of which, the second tasting was the same as the first when we asked totry different apps. She has continued to give me the run around on getting my money back, as far as saying the check was in themail, but no check has ever arrived. Food is tasty. However very unorganized and communication is laughable at best. Unfortunately, we had trusted Genia and didn't... want to lose our wedding date so we went ahead and paid the deposit on good faith it would work out before we signed a contract.Worst mistake we could've made. Had a tasting in January/February. Couldn't even get us a detailed menu/contract by August whenwe finally decided we would go with someone else after multiple attempts to contact. To make a long story short, if you arehaving anything more important than an office lunch or a bbq with friends, FIND ANOTHER CATERER. Read more
