Cuckoo's Nest is a great Mexican restaurant. The decore is fun with lots of interesting things and the food was fresh and... tasty. Get the pricy pear Margherita if you've never tried prickly pear. I got the street tacos with chorizo which werefantastic. My uncle swears by the creamy garlic dressing on the salad and loves the rice and beans. My aunt enjoys the salsawhich has a kick to it but not too spicy. Highly recommended for Mexican cuisine in the area. Read more

Still one of our Favorite places to go out. The margaritas are awesome and I hate tequila. The ahi chimichurri is to die for,... you can never go wrong with the fajitas which is enough food to feed three people or even two people for two night. Yum. Read more

3 stars because the drinks were good. The price didn’t match flavor. The fish in the fish taco was kind of stringy like from... frozen as well as the rice being hard. The enchilada plate was very dry. We also tried the Connecticut nachos, those were reallygood we did chicken instead of beef and enjoyed them the most. The chicken tortilla soup was really good, the seasoned tortillastrips were a perfect addition. Service was great. Read more

First off I want to say service was good. Our waiter was so attentive and sweet- it was his first day and he did great. The... drinks were a little slow to start but we did come at a busy time and the waiter updated us to let us know ahead of time thatthe bar was behind which I always find so helpful! The margaritas weren’t that great- felt like it was just tequila andjuice. My boyfriend got the Cajun chicken which was only ok- the dish was overall bland and the chicken was dry. I got thegrilled fish tacos and those were fantastic- loved the flavors of the mahi mahi with the slaw, and the rice and beans that camewith that dish were good. I ordered a side of spicy fries which were subpar. Our friends got the sizzling steak fajitas whichthey said were super good. Overall, i would come back but this is would not be my go to Mexican place. Read more
