We went here with great hopes because the reviews were so great! We arrived and they told us that the room we had booked the... night before was not reserved. So, the lady found us a room and we were in it for about 10 minutes until we realized there wasblood all on the top and all around the toilet. We go and request either room service to clean but they were not in, so we gotswitched to a room on the top floor. Which we have three tired kiddos and lots of stuff to carry and there was not an elevatorso it was super inconvenient for an already irritating situation. We arrive at this next room and it looks cleans so we set ourstuff down and go eat dinner. The food was good but the service was not the best due to having a new lady but we were superunderstanding of that. I had found a flea crawling on my son's neck during dinner. We get to the room after dinner and I use therestroom and go to wash my hand and about 7 bugs come out of the sink, I'm not sure what they were so at this point we're superfrustrated and my husband said we're going to a different hotel. We go to tell them that we want a refund and the owner is notunderstanding at all, pretty much calls my husband a liar and is publicly doing so in front of a whole bunch of guest andemployees. My husband is a super calm person and he was just super irriated about the situation and her calling him a liar buteven after everything he is still super calm just noticeably annoyed and she had the nerve to tell him to watch his tone withher more then once! He didn't have a tone with her whatsoever. We have never had a problem like this at any other hotel. I wouldnot recommend this place at all. Very dirty and the employees are beyond rude!! Read more

My wife and I have frequently visited the restaurant and ordered from the menu. The food was good and has always been... consistent. Based on past experience we decided to try the seafood buffet when we visited there recently. We were sadlydisappointed. First, I will state that the service was great. Our server was attentive and did a wonderful job. If I were ableto rate them separately it would be a 4.5. The cheesy chicken tortilla soup was the other standout. It has always been afavorite at lunchtime and still rated a solid 4. On the other hand, the "seafood" buffet left a great deal to be desired.Seafood consisted of catfish, popcorn shrimp, and sauteed shrimp. There was also fried chicken. The buffet was poorly stockedeven though it was early in the evening (prior to 7 pm)and the buffet table did not keep the food properly warm. The popcornshrimp was overcooked, but the coating wasn't crisp. It seemed that it was cooked and then stored under a heat lamp until it wasput on the buffet. The other items on the buffet appear to have been handled in a similar manner. The fried chicken, normally afavorite of mine, was terribly dry and the coating lacked any real flavor. As for the sides that we tried, the steamed broccoliwas mushy and had no flavor. The breaded cauliflower, when it was fresh, wasn't bad. I really hope that this was a fluke asI've always enjoyed their breakfasts, soup and salad bar, and sandwiches at the restaurant. In fact, the table next to usordered a catfish sandwich that looked amazing. For the time being we will stick with menu items and hope that they find ways toaddress the issues with their buffet.
