I went twice to Nirvana with a friend and he told me Jasbir, Food is pretty good. I totally agreed with him. Taj Mahal beer went... very well with our Indian lunch. Samosa was very fresh with crusty dough accompanied with Mint and Tamarind chutney. Naan werefantastic and not to mention Butter chicken, Daal Makhani, and Lamb Kabab. Wonderful! Among the best Indian meals we have enjoyed (and we love Indian food). Full of flavor. At Nirvana, the spices shine... through without the use of too much oil. (Sometimes, restaurant meals can overuse oil and we leave the restaurant feelingstuffed, but not here). They easily accommodated our requests for vegan dishes. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside andour server was very gracious. We're so glad we discovered this gem and look forward to returning. Read more

Food is good and tasty, but that is not why I?m giving it two stars. I spent $90 on portion sizes they claimed and said were 32... oz. That?s a LIE. I work in the restaurant business and also have purchased food at other Indian restaurants and the food areactually in 32 oz containers. I guessed that the containers were at least 24 oz, but when I measured it, the food came in 16 ozcontainers. Also, the butter chicken is normally with chicken breast, this was actually chicken thighs, a lesser and cheaperquality. This restaurant wants to hike prices and up and claim you?re getting 32 oz. That is why I gave them 2 stars. Dishonest.I don?t like being ripped off. I?d GLADLY give $90 to a restaurant that gives me the right portion sizes I?m paying for. Won?trecommend them to anyone. So many other Indian restaurants that serve the same delicious food with generous sizes worth paying.Save your money until they get their portion sizes right. Read more
