My brother took me to the ranch house barbecue and steakhouse today. I had the brisket with sides of baked beans and potato... salad. Everything was very good. The wait staff was efficient and professional. The restaurant is visually interesting with allsorts of signs, old license plates on the ceiling, and a huge variety of pigs decorating the establishment. Very enjoyableexperience. Enjoyed a super sampler while at the restaurant. First ones there. Already a line before they opened which is impressive... considering we are in the middle of the forest ???? like fairies ???????. $29 for the super sampler and worth every penny. This place is great. It is what you would think a BBQ place is like. We had the BBQ sampler and shared it between us. It was... plenty of food. We added a couple appetizers, O'rings, chili and macaroni balls. Everything was excellent! Read more
Good food, and always busy! I really enjoyed their pulled pork & chicken & burgers, but not too big on their brisket. I think... they need to work on getting some better bark on their brisket, but it's moist & tender. I really enjoy their BBQ sauce as wellit's served on the side & has a fantastic tangy bite to it. Great BBQ near Olympia! We went to the McCleary VFW for a Holiday Bazaar and stopped here for dinner on the way home. We were... greeted by friendly staff and enjoyed wonderful BBQ in a restaurant filled with a small town flair. I had the Beef Brisket,others in our group enjoyed the large Sampler Platter which easily feeds two people. It's a popular spot, so I'd recommend areservation. We had 6 in our party and waited about 15 minutes for a table at 4:45pm. (This restaurant also does a large amountof take-out orders.) Read more
