Usually good experience at Austin's. Rarely busy when we go and the staff are always great. The whiskey & chilli sauce is worth... the price of admission! Don't miss it! Read more
Very nice waitress even if she forgot the only 2 items requested (butter, and a bag to carry home leftovers. The food: the... iceberg wedge was cold, crisp and good. The ribeye was very tender, flavorful. The whiskey chili sauce on the side added justthe right flavor. The meatloaf was absolutely nothing to mention, dry and no gravy on it. Food is okay, but priced about 3x what it's worth. Good grief. Started with an appetizer of 4 medium-sized shrimp wrapped in... bacon, which was $15. Then for my meal I got some dish that was fajita meat mixed up with mushrooms and surrounded by about halfa potato's worth of mashed potatoes, and the thing was $28. I had to coat it in A1 and salt and pepper just so it would tastelike something. Save your money, go to Outback. Half the price and twice the flavor. Austin's seems to think they're some fancysteakhouse to justify these prices and I promise they're not. Read more
My partner and I decided to try this place because we've read great reviews. The place is nice and the food is awesome...BUT,... my partner and I cannot hear ourselves or our server because of this obnoxiously loud server. He is serving people from twotables away from us, he just had to make sure he is THE ONLY ONE that can be heard in the room The people he's serving are notreally talking, more of waiting for him to shut up! My food was as amazing as it normally is; however, hubby got a ribeye this time and was not impressed with the sauce they used... on it. Even with it being an hour and half before closing time our server didn't make it back to our table and had to wait onrefills several times. She was very friendly and personable just didn't come back to check on refills. As always, we will beback because they have some fabulous food and the service is normally stellar. Read more
