Figured I'd try a different catfish place. Really wasn't nothing special. Wasn't a fan of the catfish. Mr Jackson's take out is... a lot better. Now the beinets on the other hand, that's a whole different story. I'm definitely going back for those. They'regreat. Warm and tasty, didn't even have to use the sauce. BEATS THE MESS OUT OF JOE TESS!! I have had a craving for fried catfish for about 3 weeks now, so whrn I saw this place was in... town, I ordered the 4 piece catfish and fries. It took me about 20-25 minutes to get to the place after phoning in my order andit was STILL piping hot when I picked it up! Tasted great without the hot sauce or tartar sauce (your choice). Had the catfish and fries. Including the breading, the catfish was about half an inch think. The breading was bland, dry, and... barely had any flavor. The fish itself was mushy. It took over half an hour to get the food, and wasn't even hot when it cameout. It came in a basket with a cheap liner and plastic silver wear. It would have been easier to pick it up and treat it likefinger food than use silver wear to cut and pick it up. The fries might have been ok if they were fresh out of the friar. Add tothe price of over $18, this was THE worst meal I have ever had. I would recommend going to McDonalds or Burger King and gettingfish there before going here! Read more
GREAT CATFISH, I MEAN AWESOME CATFISH! The service was so awesome. The food is worth the price. I would recommend this to... everybody that likes fish or chicken. The gizzards are AMAZING!
