For the price I paid ($50 for a medium pizza, garlic cheese bread, a kids meal, and 3 drinks), this was definitely a... disappointment. The garlic bread was so crunchy one of my teeth broke and I have to go to an emergency dentist. There was somuch garlic, that was the only flavor component. The pizza crust was soggy. 10/10 I do not recommend. ***Maybe if the foodwas good quality, the price would have been worth it. My most recent dentist appointment showed no decay or injury to the nowbroken tooth, so there's that. How about be professional just because you don't like an honest review? Read more

I grew up in Buffalo NY. So I'm extremely critical of places with buffalo wings and NY style pizza. I have eaten wings and pizza... in 40 states and I can honestly the wings and pizza are both legit NY style. Certainly the best in the Midwest. Read more

Frank's is a lovely little hole in the wall that offers delicious food, and has a very friendly staff. It was so good, in fact,... that my friend and I went there twice - once for dinner, and again for lunch the next day! We had mozzarella sticks, fries, pizza (one half cheese half pepperoni, and one meat lovers), and a chicken parm sub, over our two visits. The mozzarella stickswere sublime. The breading was the perfect amount of crunchy - enough to provide texture, but not so much that it felt like areal effort to bite through. The cheese was just gooey enough - enough to complement the breading perfectly, and not so gooeythat all of the cheese comes out on the first bite. The pizza was authentic NY style. Many places like to claim "NY style"pizza, but fall woefully short - I say this as someone who grew up in New England and frequently went to NYC for great pizza. Itwas thin and foldable, soft but not too soft, but most importantly, the crust is able to hold a great deal of toppings withoutsagging or otherwise being compromised. This is further aided by the chefs not overloading the pizza with the toppings of choice- they use just the right amount to give the desired texture and flavor. Lastly, the staff are incredibly friendly. When wewent there for lunch, they had a problem with the pizza oven where my pizza ended up slightly oval. This didn't affect the tastein the slightest, but the manager came over to our table before it came out, told me, and asked if I would rather keep the ovalpizza and get a refund or have them bake me a second one. I was more than happy to have the oval pizza, and it was great. Iwould have been fine even if they hadn't offered to refund it, but the fact that they did shows they truly care about thequality and presentation of their food. If you go to Omaha for any reason and you need good authentic NY style pizza, doyourself a favor and stop by Frank's. Read more

Awesome pizza joint with staff that (somehow) remember you even if you?ve only been there once! Prices are a bit up there but it... is definitely worth it, I think. The pizza is *chefs kiss* and my friend had a chicken-parm sandwich which was apparently alsoabsolutely amazing. Great place. Highly recommend. Read more

Not a great experience to be honest. We were excited to try Franks Pizzeria, as we have heard good things about it. They weren't... busy inside and there were plenty of places to sit, which was nice. Cute little place and we enjoyed seeing all the pictures ofthe famous people that have visited Frank's. When we got there, we were able to order right away. We ordered the Margheritapizza and two slices of cheese for our kiddos. We were there for an hour before going up to the counter to ask how much longerit would be. Our 7 and 4yr old were starving at this point and starting to get pretty unhappy. Our pizza had not even beenstarted yet! We heard one of the kitchen guys say to the other one "don't worry about the people sitting out there, just getgoing on the to go orders". That was when we first got there. If they were that behind, they could have informed us that wewould be waiting a while. Then we could have made the decision to either wait or take our kids somewhere else so that they couldeat. Making adults wait is one thing, but when your making two little kids wait over an hour for a slice of pizza... meh. By thetime they were done we just got them to go and came home to eat. The margherita pizza looked like it had been very quicklyslapped together and had hardly any basil on it. It wasn't bad, had it been fresh, I think it would have been much better.Needless to say, we will not be going back to Frank's unless it is to pick up a to go order. Clearly those order take priorityover physical customers. Read more
