Staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was quite good and the prices are easy on the wallet. I will definitely return to... try other dishes. This trip was just pure Tex-Mex delight. The beef taco was great, the tamale had good flavor and the cheeseenchilada was well above average. Another person in our little party had the tacos al carbon and commented that the flavor wasgreat. The barracho beans are good too. Next time we'll try the beef fajitas with bacon because everything is better with bacon. Read more
We have been here twice now and the food and service was excellent both times. Good cheese enchiladas if you ask for extra... onions they deliver on that promise. The red salsa is very well flavored and not too spicy kind of approaching a medium heat.The guacamole is excellent. Tacos and queso we're also very good. The refried beans left a little to be desired in the flavordepartment although the consistency of them was very good. The price is right! Read more

To preface this whole post, there were two service staff on the floor. It's not their fault they're expected to keep up with an... entire restaurant. My experience was negatively impacted by the lack of floor staff on hand during a relatively busy lunch timeshift and the quality of the food I received. Firstly, we sat and waited for *so long* before we got our menus, drinks, andfood., they forgot the lemon I asked for on my drink but I'm not so picky that I felt like I needed to say anything. They werealso out of Corona and said they only had Miller and Bud lite ???? The waiter also didn't write down our order when he took itand it ended up coming out wrong, I asked for no tomato and got tomato, I just picked them off since they were mostly on top(glad I'm not allergic). Finally, the food. It was so bland!!! I've had good Mexican food, my fiance grew up in a Latinohousehold, we know what good Mexican food tastes like... I know Onalaska is basically an old white folks retirement communityplus the rest of the people around here or whatever but we're in Texas and I'm wanting for better Mexican food that I had inIndiana! Y'all need a new cook, more spices, something!!! An intervention! Even the salsa tasted off to me, like there was apungent after taste and very little tomato present.
