Was in the area and looking for a "noncorporate" café. Glad I visited Brot Coffee. I learned that the coffee is roasted here.... Ordered a basic coffee and was very impressed. The aroma was a touch nutty and rich in flavor. There are few selections ofpastry pairings. It seems Brot Coffee specializes in toast with various options of spread. I ordered a sourdough with butter andwas surprised to see such an exuberant slice of bread. The ambiance of the cafe is very relaxing. There is plenty of seatingand tables of all sizes for individuals, couples, or larger groups. Outdoor seating is also available. Restroom are availablehowever during our visit they needed attention. Not the largest portions, but the taste was great and filling enough for breakfast. The store itself has a niceenvironment and the smell of coffee was pleasant.
