thanksgiving. buffet. reservation. all sounded good. it was a 3 ring circus when we got there. waited an hour to be seated.... trays were empty. food was stale. meat was tough. do yourself a favor .. go to the Golden Corral .. the food is probably betterand the price is less than half of what this place charges. wish I knew yesterday what I know today. We recently returned for dinner after a lengthy hiatus. Unfortunately we were very disappointed in our experience. We ordered... the Filet Mignon, collard greens, baked potato and mix green salad. The steak was so tough you could barely cut it with a steakknife and then had to chew it at great length just to be able to swallow it. The collard greens were too vinegary andovercooked. The salad was tasty and the dinner rolls were good. The appetizer which was a crab, spinach dip smelled likesomething that was spoiled. Perhaps the crab was old. The moscato wine was flat and not much flavor. The only saving grace wasthe service. Our server was attentive. We did bring to the attention of our server our displeasure with our steak. Themanager did ask what the problem was but said nothing had changed with where they ordered the meat from so she was not sure whatthe problem was. Ours was not the only filet at the table and the other was as tough as ours. We had a table of seven and Iknow there will two that won’t be returning. A beautiful place to dine but the food was a huge disappointment. I do hopeHilltop can step up their game. Perhaps it was just an off night and unfortunately for us we were at the receiving end. Went out with my sis and parents. Called Friday and was able to get reservations easily for a Saturday night. Service was great.... Ambiance was outstanding; we loved the pianist. I had the prime rib. It was excellent. My dad had the rack of lamb and loved it.He said the price was much better than expected. My only complaint would be the loaded potato… it seemed a little old and thehandicap ramp has a few lips and bumps making it hard for my mom to navigate. Bathrooms were clean, but the larger stalldidn’t lock. Would definitely come again! Read more
Wonderful experience. My family knows the owner and staff really well. They’re so kind and accommodating. We last minute had... to find a venue for my sister and brother in-law’s 10 year anniversary dinner because the original place we booked with gaveus so many problems. We called the hilltop and they made it work for us, they were amazing! We really appreciate them so much!The food is great, the place is really cool, and the staff is so kind! Read more

It has been a long time since I’ve been to the Hilltop. I took my mom on a Tuesday evening in December and we had a wonderful... time. The food was delicious, prices were fair, the server was phenomenal, and the place was beautiful and decorated for theholidays. We started with the crab and spinach dip and it was good and the pita bread was amazing! It was a little crispy on theoutside, soft on the inside, buttery, and warm. We split the filet mignon entree which came with a salad and 2 sides. Everythingwas delicious, especially the steak. You also get rolls for the table. I got a glass of the Clos Cabernet and it was reallygood, especially with the steak. Our server was so nice and attentive. She boxed what we didn’t eat and made sure we werethrough with each course before bringing the next one. It was pretty empty, but I already have plans to return. Read more
