First off, I have to say, sorry. Sorry that I?m having to leave a not so stellar review as I really wanted to like a... neighborhood sushi place. First part, the good: the ambiance was brilliant. You walk in and are greeted by really cool entrancethat really takes you to a difference place. As you open the door there is a water feature that drowns out any of the outsidenoise which is nice and not overpowering. The inside of the restaurant is inviting with its cool petrified wood slabs hangingfrom the roof and the back wall built to look like a traditional Japanese alleyway store front - really cool. They were slowthis Monday night, so we were sat right away, and the waitress came right to us to offer drinks and menus. looking through themenu the pricing was kinda high, but they subscribe to the same scheme as most local sushi shops of pricing minus 50%, which isfine. I mean why not just put that $20 sushi roll at $10 bucks and call it a day, but whatever. Looking through the rolls theyhave a good selection, but I noticed a lot of the rolls had cucumber. I?m not super picky so I thought really nothing of it andordered 2 rolls: the 007 and a rainbow roll. The food came out quickly (again they were pretty slow) and that?s kind of wherethe review takes a turn. The waitress asks if we needed anything else when setting the boards. I asked for small side ofsriracha sauce as I normally do and was shocked to be told it would be 95 cents for the side. I asked if this was a normalcharge for sauces and she confirmed. Really? 95 cents for a squirt of sriracha? I understand costs have gone up, but bereasonable in your up charges and if you?re going to charge me at least give me actual original siracha sauce not some cheapknock off - you can tell the difference. That was a BIG turn off and one thing that put a nail in the coffin of me coming back ?but hey, all the great reviews of the good food, I?m sure I?m in for a treat. Yeah, no. The rolls were small, the fish was Read more

They got my order wrong so I had to wait extra long, but that happens. It?s just too pricey now. Had a little sticker shock for... my $17 udon soup. That?s without meat. Don?t think it was worth it. Read more

Good food, especially the freshness and quality of the rice. Good menu choices except there is a lot og deep fried and saucy... foods, I guess American's with their deepfried fetish need to be satisfied. Very beautiful interoir and decor. Read more
