The sample of grits the chef gave us was the best we have ever tasted. The omelet was great. The hash browns were crispy all... over and with every bite. My wife and I decided to try Joe's on Nov 15th based upon the Google reviews and we weren't disappointed. It's a fun little... place with character and a friendly, helpful staff. I ordered the waffle and my wife ordered the french toast (see the photos). I don't know when we have ooo'ed and ah'd so much over a breakfast meal. The fruit was perfectly fresh and all so delicious. I was also given a small bowl of grits. Never tried them before, but now I'm a believer. By the way, they are very flexible. For example, if you don't want all 3 fruits, butter, whipped cream, sweetened-condensed milk and powdered sugar on your waffle(maybe you're not ready to die and go to heaven), they are happy to remove what you don't want.
