Bella cakes made 2 awesome cakes for my daughter’s 1st birthday! It was Harry Potter themed (we were in town for Universal... Studios) and she made a DELICIOUS buttercake with cute Harry Potter items out of fondant (sorting hat, wand, Harry’s glasses,golden snitch, etc). Came out so cute, I recommend her chocolate cakes! I don’t usually leave reviews but this is still bothering me days later. This isn’t based on the product because I was never... able to receive it but more the professionalism of the company. We were suppose to arrive Tuesday evening and I had ordered acake for my nephews birthdays - on Monday evening we made the disappointing decision to cancel because of the hurricane. We madethe right decision because they closed Disney and canceled our cruise. I emailed as soon as I knew we weren’t going not askingfor anything just that we had to cancel because of the hurricane. The response back was that it had already been baked and icedand no refund would be offered but I could get a credit. I explained I had no idea when we could be in Orlando for vacationagain. The more I thought about it, which I know was later in the day, I emailed back to see if it could be donated to someoneworking the storm. I was then informed it had been cut up and given to customers for free. I understand the cake had been madebut it was never decorated or delivered and I don’t feel like that constituted almost 170 dollars. I still feel the moreprofessional thing to do would have been to offer some type of refund even if it had taken out the cost and time of just bakingthe cake. I submitted my request online. The owner Bel contacted me to discuss my order preference. I was looking for a character cake for... my grandson's birthday. I was not familiar with the character even though i was able to find a google photo (i wasn't sure shewould be able to create the character) Bell took the time to email me me a couple photo options that she had created for thissame character. We set a date and time for pickup. I was even able to change the date to accomodate the pickup. My grandsonloved the cake. It looked just like the picture and was quite tasty too. I cannot begin to explain how cool and awesome my boyfriends cake turned out because of Bell! I was really surprised she was... able to take my order to begin with because I did reach out like, 2 weeks before the party but she automatically got on boardwith the theme, idea, the flavors. I was so thankful, you have no idea! I don't know much about horror movies but Bell took thereigns and made the cake exactly everything and more of what the birthday boy wanted. I really cannot thank her enough for sucha delicious cake at such a last minute turnaround. We will defff be coming back again and again, because not only was the cakephysically amazing, it tasted SO good! Thanks again Bell! Read more
