Bizarre. This company uses the same name as the well known "Stuart Anderson's Black Angus". However it is NOT affiliated with it... in any way. That waitress had no idea and couldn't explain it. We ordered an appetizer and it came out right before our foodbecause we "ordered our steak medium rare". Like it was our fault. The salad had a pile of corn in it. The waitress gave us ourcheck without asking if we wanted anything else. On top of that, there is a strange Florida souvenir store attached to therestaurant by 2 doors. Long story short, this is NOT BLACK ANGUS as we know it. The food is not well thought out. I'd skip thisweird empty restaurant. Also skip the "creme brulee cheesecake". It tastes fine but it has nothing to do with creme brulee. Thisplace was wild. ??????????????? Update to reply: the menu says it was established in the 1970s. Why anybody would use that namewhich is the same as a national chain is ridiculous, and terrible marketing. And yeah, I suggested to the waitress she shouldput in that appetizer that takes a while, and then wait and then put him the actual food order so it all doesn't come out atonce. Shocking, I know. Additionally brulee means burnt sugar. None of that was happening on that dessert. And the food wasalright. We will definitely be back. Our server was so attentive and pleasant. Our meals were delicious and the filet was cooked medium... as requested. The food presentation was beautiful. This restaurant has a fairly beautiful atmosphere and is fancy without feeling like you have to be dressed up. The service we... had was very polite and accommodating. The food, however is the best aspect of our evening. The orders were made to a T andtasted fabulously! We had steak and salmon and both were cooked perfectly! Would definitely come again. Read more
