I don?t recommend the cold rice noodle (liang fen) because the texture is much harder than I expected it should be quite soft... and jelly like. I went there about half a year ago. As Chinese myself, actually Hunanese, I would say this place might be the most authentic... Hunanese restaurant you can find in Orlando. If they bring you a dish and say that's how it is supposed to be made, trustthem. I went there again earlier this year, not that good any more, making me wonder if they had new chef... Read more
This is the best Chinese food I've ever had in the US. But this is the real deal, so all the bad reviews I think are from people... who were expecting more "Americanized" Chinese food. We got the whole fish with cabbage in chili oil (exquisite, warm, sour,brothy, spicy with bean sprouts), the stir-fry beef (seems so basic but it's a Hunan specialty and they had tons of cilantro????), the eggplant in garlic sauce (if you like eggplant, just do it), and the cold chili cucumber salad (so refreshing andtangy!)
