Stay away This place should close down. There are so many different nationalities in the menu that the flavors that you are... expecting to get in your meal are lost. We ordered the plantain bites with cheese inside, what a mistake. They tasted terribleand even had an after taste. My wife ordered mofongo and it was flavorless and the plantains did seem as processed as a mofongoshould be it even had pork pieces the size of nuggets that tasted pre-cooked and the cuerito was soft NOT crunchy as it shouldbe, in fact it felt like the plantains were cooked in old oil. the shrimp that it came with was tasteless and it disappeared inthe plate. I ordered land and sea. I ordered the steak medium well and it was unevenly cooked a d the shrimp were charred. Therice had no taste and the beans were re-heated, it looked like a mush. The waitress was nice but she is either new or doesn notknow how to explain things on the menu. When she dropped the foodbon the table she also dropped a plate with different sauces tolet you guess which one os which. I regret having stopped in for dinner. By the way they add 18% gratuity to your bill even ifit only 2 people eating and then at the bottom give you options to give more gratuity. Never again Read more

Just left here not even a hour ago did a Togo order (Didn't look at the food until we got home). I've ate here multiple times... and never had a problem (last visited 5 months ago) I was ranting and raving about how delicious their food was to my mother. Wepurchased 3 different meals and was very disappointed. Neither meal had any type of salt, pepper, or Flavor what so ever. Theygave us some type of lentil sauce with our mofongo which is not it's original sauce. Ordered a medium well NY steak it came outmedium rare instead, we literally didn't eat but a few bites because how bitter and disgusting our food was. We were about tohead back to the restaurant to get a full refund but noticed that they had already closed by the time we got home and sat downto eat. We spent so much money just for a "Lazy" cook to throw everything together and give out wrong items. Literally was myworst experience with any restaurant ever. Still debating about bringing our food back tomorrow to get the refund, but knowinghow some people run their businesses we might not even be able to get that. Read more

Nice staff, clean restaurant but they don’t know how to cook steak at all. We ordered 4 steaks and all of them were cooked... absolutely wrong. Since we were a part of a party the waitress wasn’t very attentive to notice and we couldn’t get herattention without feeling like jerks cause she looked over worked by others. Was pricy in the end as well so I wished I wouldhave spoken up. The green dipping sauce that came with the empanadas tasted really good on everything. Read more

Decided to try La Fogata for lunch. Here my opinion. Pros: seating availability Close to major whys and stores Bilingual... staff Cons: Over 40 mins Wait time for walk-in to go orders You call their # to place order ahead of time and goes tovoicemail A bit pricey in my opinion Not necessarily my flavor When you get your to go order you have many bags. One would thinkyou bought the whole restaurant but once you open the package it’s minimal. They’re in such a rush to get the orders for thedine ins that you end up leaving without all the items you paid for then have to go back to let them know they forgot to put itin the bag. I think I’ll pass on this one. But that’s not to say you won’t like it. Read more

La Fogata offers an unforgettable dining experience. I am always surprised by the presentation of the food I order. I often... compete with my daughter. Her plate always looks better then mind. Except this Sunday my drink was straight from paradise. Read more
