The food was not what I expected. The rice was not moist..the tostones were like hockey pucks..the pork skin was soggy and the... alcapurias were over cooked. This location was a favorite but it seems they either stopped caring about how the food is made orthey have new cooks. Either way the quality of food has changed at least within the last couple of years for me. Read more

As a Puerto Rican, whose mom is one of the best cooks in the world, I'm always looking for a top-notch Puerto Rican restaurant.... This one in Orlando definitely made the cut. They have a number of Puerto Rican dishes, as well as some Cuban dishes. We triedthe rice with roasted pork, the oxtail with rice and beans, the ropa Vieja which is a Cuban meat dish, and some of the pastries.All the meat was tender and well seasoned, the rice and beans were cooked to perfection. And as you can tell from the picturesthe choices can be pretty much endless. Great place to just go in and pick something up, or stay awhile. I also ordered acortado coffee which was delicious. There is handicap parking, and the inside is wheelchair accessible. The one thing that wasdifficult is that the counters were you put in the order are a little high. I think the person has trouble hearing me because mywheelchair was sort of low asking for it to the counter. Other than that this made over gas station is serving a serious hotmeal! Read more

It was our first time and we didn?t realize what all came with combo and what meats we could decide. We picked the ribs cause it... was one of the first meats there although the worker we had did not really help us. She seemed annoyed and when askingquestions, didn?t really care to help hence why we just got the ribs. Food was good but worker could been more helpful.
