We stopped by Oishi for the first and I’ll definitely be back. The atmosphere was nice, the employees were friendly and... helpful. I was torn between a few items on the menu and the waitress helped me choose between them. She recommended theyakinikuju, which is flavorful sirloin strips sautéed with onions over white rice and pickled ginger. The dish can with gingersalad and miso soup which could’ve been standout menu items by themselves. I also ordered the shrimp tempura roll and it astasty as it was beautiful. My nephew ordered the unagi avocado roll and the spider roll. When I asked him to describe them soI’d know what to put in the review he said “they’re good” ????. He also ordered the seaweed salad and miso soup as hissushi rolls did not come with the extra sides. Altogether we spent around $70 between the both of us and walked away with a lotof food. I had to get a box, and I can’t wait to finish mine later.I’m looking forward to stopping by this place again. Theyknocked it out of the park. EDIT: We went back the next day and tried the Hibachi shrimp which came with fried veggies, friendrice, and vegetable noodles. It also came with miso soup and ginger salad. My nephew got the kalamari and katsudon which alsocame with miso soup and the ginger salad. He also told me that the miso soup was “the best miso soup he had ever had”.Coming from a man of few words, I think that says a lot. Read more

The place seems clean and nice and everything was great except my scallops smelled like ammonia? I couldn’t put my finger on... it and thought maybe it wasn’t cooked through but they were cooked fully.. just smelled disgusting. Read more
