It seems that Steak n Shake as a company had gone downhill here. The food and service was good, but it seems a little lower... quality than it used to. But the prices are easy on the pocket book for what I got. Read more

There were five in our group on Sat., August 20, around 11:45. We stood at the door for at least 10 minutes, and at no time were... we acknowledged. There were three waitresses and all three made eye contact with me but made no effort to seat us. One gentlemanwho came in after us was seated immediately. We were pleasantly surprised actually. The food was really good and reasonably priced. We were there during happy hour and... five of us ate for less than $28! The fold up car was a hit with our 12 year old grandson. The server was so friendly too! The shakes were amazing. We'll be back when we're this way again. Read more
