Great selection of meats and treats. Very friendly staff.

Very disappointed. I had to go to this location because every other butcher in Oshawa is closed on Mondays. I was looking for... a chuck roast. The lady helping me didn't know what that was or what would be comparable (a blade roast). When I asked her toask the butcher she finally acknowledged that it was a shoulder cut and told me they don't sell shoulder cuts. I've purchase ablade roast before from the North Oshawa location so I was surprised the main store wouldn't have it or know what it was. Iwould think that a company that calls themselves Halenda's MEAT would know a little bit about what they sell. I had to driveall the way out to Kyle's Quality Meats in Bowmanville where the gentleman behind the counter knew exactly what a chuck roastwas and was pleased to cut one for me. I will never return to Halenda's because they just don't know their product. Read more

Great location, a bit less choice than other locations but its less busy and one still gets the family business butcher shop... feel. Very friendly staff and always fresh high quality meats. Read more

Very disappointed finding out halenda's has open a big production facility, that explains why the quality of the natural... kolbassa has gone down hill so much. Unfortunately when companies start mass production they throw their quality out the window.Luckily they have great service, but unfortunately with them giving up the quality for greed is what usually ruins businesses.
