Went Thursday night with my family after hearing a lot of good things about the Chart Room. Asked to sit inside as it was too... hot outside. Was seated quickly by a window only to find out that it was 92? inside. There were no air conditioners or fans oninside the dining area even though the air conditioners were clearly visible. The only fans were above the bar circulating thehot air around. Everyone seated inside were sweating, using napkins to wipe their faces and foreheads..The staff were soakingwet. When asked one staff member why the air conditioner was not turned on, he replied that "they never turned them on", that hehas worked there for many years and they are too cheap to turn them on. People inside were looking at each other wondering whythey didn't turn the AC on. This place gets great reviews and makes a ton of money, they should be turning the AC on so theirpatrons can eat in comfort.. Couldn't wait to get out of there and will never go back again. Spent way too much money there forthe atmosphere, the food was pretty good but definitely not worth the price. I would definitely tell anyone to find anotherplace, there are a lot better restaurants with with wonderful views down the Cape than this place... Read more
We had a lobster rolls ($40 each the most expensive on the cape) and were there with 3 other ladies. The food was good and the... waitress was very nice and helpful. They take no reservation and the place is jam packed. Many cocktails to choose from. Thepotato salad is awesome. Chart room in Cataumet is a little better experience overall. Read more
We were here a year ago for the first time and service and food was good. Decided to take a drive today from Chatham and have... some lunch. We sat outside under the tent, hot but nice breeze. Several tables were being waited on around us but we werecompletely ignored. I went inside and informed the hostess, one waitress came back out to pick up a check, and completelyignored us again. The food was pretty good as well as the atmosphere. However it seems like we left by accident a diaper Or one of our 2 kids and... some lady who we didn’t meet came to parking lot to yell at us that we left a diaper (we didn't - I went back to check). Ifyou have a family or you know are a real person I would probably avoid this place. Makes me really regret the 25% tip. Nice ladyshould probably have a reality check how to treat people. Read more
