Called and ordered and when we arrived they didn?t even write down our order. Got a bunch of irresponsible kids workin In there... smfh. Read more
Service was not good we walked in and stood at the counter with 5 people behind the counter and no one said a word to us or... tried to help us.. there was no sign telling you to order here or have a seat and we will take your order or anything.. so wewent and sat down then realized we needed to go stand at the counter until someone finally asked if we wanted to order then wehad to ask them about drinks because they don't even have anything on the menu ( that you have to find laying on the counteryourself).. then the pizza...we chose to go to Sam's because all the reviews I had read spoke highly of the food but I was lessthen in impressed the toppings and sauce was ok but the crust was like eating a hard flavorless frozen pizza crust. We ordered acheese bread expecting cheese "bread" but it was literally a cheese pizza with no sauce on it to go along with the other cheesepizza we ordered. The beef roll pizza was ok but far from the best beef roll we have had I really went there hoping this placewas going to be great and was very disappointed i would have been more satisfied just going down the road and ordering dominosand I don't care for chain type pizza places at all. One piece of this pie could be enough for lunch. My stuffed pizza with a top crust and sauce on top was allot like a huge round... Calzone. I was in the Chicago area and had to have some Chicago style pizza. I asked a local where I could find good local pizzaand got a quick and certain answer. SAM'S PIZZA! I would go back, and take friends to help eat one of these. Everyone wasfriendly and the pizza was prepared ASAP and brought to my table promptly. If heaven smells like Pizza ???? Sam's is Devine.
