We love coming to Al?a Steakhouse, the food is always top quality and of course the steaks are perfect! Tried a porterhouse... steak for the first time and it was amazing. Highly recommend Al?s - you can?t go wrong with ordering anything from their menu!Service is always on point as well! Read more
First time here and it was a great experience. I had the escargot which had them inside mushrooms and the cheese, they did not... skimp on it, I had the green pepper steak with house salad, all of it was the best flavour I've had in a long time. Ourwaitress was amazing even hung balloons that lost the helium from the rain. Will go back again. Read more
One of the best steakhouses in Ottawa. I celebrated my birthday here with a group of 8 and it was a great dinner experience. The... quality of the food, drinks, and service was excellent. I?ve been to The Keg and Baton Rouge many times before (of which I?venever had a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak at either) and Al?s definitely sets the bar high compared to those two. 5 starsas well for the central location and free customer parking. I can?t think of any complaints but maybe consider allowing onlinereservations of 6+ to be made through OpenTable. Read more
Everything from making reservations to desert was absolutely perfect! We booked for 12 family members for my son?s birthday and... it was the most amazing experience. Our server was over the top perfect. Never waited for anything, questions were answeredbefore we even needed to ask. Drinks flowed, food that was over the top amazing came when we wanted and my goodness there are somany things that were absolutely perfect. If you're looking for a steak in Ottawa, this is one of those places. If you know, you know. Absolutely great Steakhouse.... Everything is always fantastic from the moment you walk in. When the owner is constantly walking the floor and greeting hiscustomers. You know you're in good hands. The steak is always fantastic. The lamb chops are so thick and succulent. The lobstertail was juicy and delicious. Personally I wasn't I huge fan of the shrimp. They just felt plain and I like my shrimp seasoned.That's probably the only criticism I have and it's not even negative. Read more
