The spicy chicken and the gamja-tang are 5/5. The chicken was crispy outside and well seasoned. The gamja-tang was very tasty... and the meat portion was generous. Unfortunately, the seafood pajeon was a disappointment. First, it wasn?t crispy, with onlysome squid slices, but mostly made of pollock crabs,and carrots. I have had way better pajeon. Also, they only give out 2 sidedishes (kimchi and sweetened potatoes) Howey, price was reasonable. I think they can clean up the place and make it moreappealing. Read more
A small cozy Korean restaurant in the heart of downtown Ottawa, this place has the tastiest chicken in a variety of sauces. They... also have a variety of soups to choose from. Indeed - a 5 star review from me is very rare. This is deserved for multiple reasons. I order the half chicken - hot and spicy!... This flavour tasted incredible! Like a Gochujang ???????? red chilli paste, but in a sauce format! ???? The spice level wasperfect - although I could see some people finding it a bit too spicy! I recommend you ask for a sample of the sauce beforecommitting to it! The PTP (Price to Protein) ratio was acceptable in this case and produced 5-6 pieces of bone in giantdrumsticks and thighs! I was definitely full after 4 pieces but continued on as the spiceness was addictive! Could you easilymake this at home ? I suppose so! If you go to the effort of making fried chicken, you can very likely douse it in manydifferent flavours. I wish they had the option for getting 2 flavours in a half chicken order ($22) but they do have thatoption for full chicken. Must try at least once. Read more

??? ??????. I ordered the sweet and Spicy fried chicken with the sauce on the side. It came really fast and the chicken was... super crispy. It?s a lot more crispy than KFC. The Original Crispy had less flavours than the other flavours but it is great forpeople who don?t want too much salt and flavouring in their chicken. You can add the sauce on if you want more flavour. I alsoordered the Pa-Jeon which was the best I had. They did not cut back on the squid so the pieces are very large. I loved that. Theones I had before always cut back on the squid for savings on cost but this one was very generous,l. Honestly I came for thefried chicken but I liked the Pa-Jeon way more. Both were really good but the Pa-Jeon puts them about other korean restaurants Itried. Definitely recommend the Pa-Jeon if you like the texture of Squid. Read more
