Pure Kitchen Westboro is a really nice location. However, when I went there during Happy Hour it was quite warm inside. Either... the air conditioning wasn't turned on or if it was, it was probably 25-28 degrees. We ordered the Strong smoothie which was anice tropical blend, but I would've preferred the chia seeds blended in as opposed to just sitting on the top. We ordered theKorean cauliflower "wings" which are usually really saucy and quite a large portion. But we found that some cauliflower wingswere battered and some were not - meaning some were saucier than others. They were also in big chunks and not as bite sized as Iremember. Maybe this was to give the illusion of a lot for the half off price. We also ordered a slice of carrot cake and it wasreally good! It had a nice balance of sweetness, cinnamon, and finely grated carrots. It also had I believe a blackberry puréewhich was a nice compliment too. Pure Kitchen has the best plant based delicious food in Ottawa. The flavors are out of this world, excellent selection even for... meat eaters they could fall in love with the plant based menu options. Great atmosphere and location with great views fromrooftop terrace. August features their happy hour with radical wings for 10$ and wine and beer for 5$ great portions and pouringsizes! This restaurant is amazing! As a vegetarian family, we eat here all the time. And throughout the pandemic, it has been our go to... takeout spot. Not only is the food fresh and delicious, the customer service is amazing. The rooftop patio is really great, andtheir restaurant is very clean and bright. I had an issue with an order and the manager went above and beyond to fix the issue.Very professional. Pure Kitchen is my favorite restaurant in Ottawa! Their generous portions of healthy & tasty plant-based food always hit the... spot. My latest obsession is the Fulfilled (vegan eggplant parm sandwich) + you need to get the transformed kale Caesar salad asa side. They have a nice patio during the summer. Read more
