Best sushi in Ottawa , i tried so many places but this one is the best, every-time i get it, i never get disappointed, the... quality is always consistent and the best, give you so much sauce and the service and delivery is so fast. i always get sushithere! Definitely recommend ! Read more
Ordered lunch for my husband and I. Was hoping to dine in but didn?t realize the place is takeout only. However, The sushi was... amazing. I?m a sushi connoisseur since I?m from Vancouver (LOL) we just moved to Ottawa and I?m very impressed with this takeoutplace. The prices are really reasonable (particularly the lunch specials!) and the ingredients in them were very fresh. Supercomparable to what I?m used to. The only downside for me were the albacore nigiri pieces, which weren?t as fresh, but I wasn?texpecting much considering albacore is from the west (I was just feeling nostalgic). For the two lunch specials we ordered, Cand D, we got more food than we could eat (but of course we managed to stuff it down). I really liked the chef?s choice of rollsin the specials, I initially was worried they might skimp on more raw fish but I was wrong. This is the first time I visit Sushi Sama. I ordered two poke bowls ? the spicy salmon and the lobster bowl. I also received... free shrimp tempuras. It was very tasty. There was not even a morsel rice left. On top of that, everyone that was working therewere super friendly and friendly. Having great employees are as important as the food itself. Service was terrible here , lady taking our order seemed to be bother with our presence. We order 4 different kinds of rolls.... This place is on the pricey side and the food we go portion was incredibly small and the taste was mediocre at best, fish rollshardly had any fish and food was nothing special.
