This is usally my go to place for chinese. It's the best Chinese in the KC metro IMO. I love the princess chicken, which is like... a buttery sweet and sour. A lot of places try this type of breading and fail to make it crispy, but fortune wok gets it rightevery time. I also like the sesame and orange chicken with fried rice (it's an upcharge but well worth it) the pekking beef isalso a favorite of mine. This last visit they made every dish spicy. Princess chicken has never ever been spicy to me and itjust suddenly was. They offered to remake it and that was so nice. I still will come back, but be sure to tell them the spicelevel you want because the cooks are inconsistent with the sauces. Read more
What can I say about this place. This place has been an OG spot in OP for the longest time. I have been dinning here for half my... life. My favorite to go dish is the Pad Thai. It simply the best. This place has truly stayed consistent throughout the years.Friendly, great staff. I highly recommend this place to any friends, family, or event. The owner is awesome & treats his stafffairly. They have great gluten free options but the prices are high. We actually started driving to 135th and Newman which is 10 minutes... farther because we felt the food was better. Not sure if it?s two brothers that own one of each location but the food here hasbeen declining along with the service. For the cost of the food, the rice should at least be to the top.. come on now.
