Tried their hibachi for the first time to celebrate a birthday. We made a reservation, they sat us immediately upon arrival. Our... server was friendly and quick, and I like that he told us about the 20% gratuity up front. The soup and salad came out fast andit tasted good. The chef was fantastic!! He was engaging and very funny. He made sure we had a great time!! We had theFirecracker sushi roll, shrimp hibachi and crab Rangoon. It was all delicious. The habachi food was seasoned well, the ricecould have cooked a little longer but didn't ruin the meal. The sushi roll was good and not too spicy. I went here two other times before now and the food was good. The last two times I?ve gone the food hasn?t been as great. My... grandmother ordered the sesame chicken and it was chewy and hard. She couldn?t even cut it with her fork or barely chew it. Iordered the fried tofu and it was so bland even with the sauce. The roll I had was pretty good. Just not one of my favoriterolls. We have been here one other time and the food was good so I was so excited to try their tempura vegetables and shrimp but was... very disappointed. The batter was bland with no flavor. The dipping sauce had no taste either. I had others at the table tasteit too and they agreed. We told the server and he said they add water to make the sauce then asked if they had a different sauceor could make the sauce stronger. He brought us a ginger and mustard sauce which didn't go good with tempura but gave it someflavor. This place had arguably the best egg rolls I have ever had. My partner absolutely loved the sushi too. We didn't have an... opportunity to try the hibachi on our first visit but the food and atmosphere was so spectacular we definitely intend to go backagain soon. EDIT: We've been back several times and were able to try the hibachi which was quite the experience! We stillusually sit at the sushi bar though. We seriously can't get enough of this place, it's quickly become one of our new favorites. Read more
