So so bad. Literally everything was bad. The service was beyond horrible- come to find out our server was also the bartender for... the night and the bar was very busy. Why would you make the bartender serve tables on a weekend?! The sangria clearly came froma pre-ordered jug and all the food was extremely bland and took forever to come out. The dough was barely cooked through andflavorless. When it did finally arrive it was lukewarm like it had been sitting for quite a while. On top of very poor serviceand food barely fit to feed my dog, there was a 20% auto included gratuity charge on our bill for our table of 3 (2 adults andone toddler). I feel bad for the server/bartender but there was no reason she needed to take our table. There was clearly enoughstaff to handle the few tables that were seated. For my neighborhood Italian joint. This is my go to place. The have an amazing lasagna and pretty damn good stuffed Italian... pizza. It's a bit more on the "American" style of the Italian side, but worlds better than Olive Garden. Now with all Italianfamilies, and individuals, each person says they can cook it better. While they are arguing about whose a better cook, I'lljust come pick up some Giovanni's and enjoy the show. When I am in the mood to cook Italian pizza from scratch, and don't feellike hassling with dough; I also come here to grab dough. They have dough is flour and in oil. Both are extremely reasonablypriced. It's great comfort food, and it feels like your local Italian hangout. Exactly like my old neighborhood in New Yorkcity. I had a very nice waitress. My pizza was overly saucy and mozzarella was cold somehow. The fresh basil was good. The crust was a... bit stale. The strangest thing was the parmesan shaker.
