great atmosphere. loved all the train themed decor. beers were good, especially the haskap sour. food was good. turkey sandwich... was enormous and very yummy. trout was good as well, though i wish it came with some carbs. the soup we got was unfortunatelyvery salty. maybe it was the bottom of the pot? we got there relatively late. First time in Owen Sound and definitely a must place to dine. We wanted to eat on the patio but it was too sunny and they didn?t... have any umbrellas, so we opted for indoor dining. Staff were friendly and helpful with menu food choices , especially the asiangentleman. The smoked chicken club sandwich and the midtown burger was delicious. Would definitely come back. Read more

This is an amazing Brewery and Restaurant experience, a must do! We discovered this fun spot in August 2022 with friends for... lunch along the beautiful River in Owen Sound. VERY friendly and knowledgeable staff that knew their lunch menu and beerselections well. Their beer was simply excellent on a hot day! We enjoyed the sour rhubarb beer (middle beer in the picturebelow). Their smoked chicken sandwich and their homemade fries were just so tasty! The best pub fries we can say we have everhad, large wedge cuts and with a crispy coating! They smoke their meats on location and the brisket was so tender. The cornbread is a great appetizer too. They offer vegan friendly lunch options too. Excellent lunch from start to finish, so greatthat we made another repeat lunch the next day together! Great Food, amazing craft beer, and fantastic patio. Date of Visit: Monday August 1st Finding a quality place to eat with a... patio isn't always easy. We prefer outdoor dining - and we are not convinced covid is done yet. We asked our followers onInstagram to recommend great restaurants in Owen sound, and Mudtown Station came up a few times, so we had to give it a try. Therestaurant is located in an revamped CPR Rail Station. The length of the station building provides them with the opportunity tohave plenty of outdoor seating - spaced well apart. Located right near the water - this is also a great spot for views as youeat. The servers are very efficient and friendly. I am a bit of a goldilocks when it comes to beer - I like what I like and ihate what i hate for many different reasons. So, I asked for tastings of various beers that they have on tap. the waitress washappy to oblige. I tried 3 different beer - a Beet, Morrocan spice and a sour. All were exceptional - My husband ordered theBeet - so i decided on the morrocan spice. Such an excellent option. The food - is gorgeous, beautifully presented with qualityingredients. No corners cut. I was having GI issues so i didn't want to upset the applecart - so i selected what I viewed as asafe choice. The Club sandwich and salad. Thick cut bacon, delicious meat, gourmet bread. - it was amazing. My husband had thefish dinner -beautiful and full of flavour. Ample Parking on site and near by. Walkable from all of downtown Owen Sound. Pricesare very reasonable for the quality of food and beer. A very popular place for locals and tourists alike - it seemed fairly busyevery time we were near. although not too busy to not get a table. The food was exceptional. Our visit with the mudtown was ok. we waited an incredible amount of time due to staffing issues. Waitresses did come around... occasionally to see how we are doing but it would have been nice to see the restaurant manager come as well. We were patientand didn?t put any pressure on them because we don?t know what?s going on in the back. No one came to see how our food was. Theburger patty was a bit on the smaller size with a bit bun. The BLT is good. The croutons were a bit soggy and the Cesar saladslacked dressing.
