Have enjoyed take out subs. But for special occasion ordered catered-pack which was terrible. Sandwiches were dry, scanty and not do tasty. Bread was dry and smaller than regular subs. Will only order regular sub. Catering pack was overly expensive and a poor choice for me.

This was our first visit at Firehouse Sub. We carried out our order. Subs were delicious. They forgot the pickles for both sandwiches, forgot the seasoning on the meatball sub, wrong bread on the meatball sub. Didn't realize this till we got home. Will go back but check our order before we leave the store. Shouldn't have to do that though.

Other than ALL 3 of the teenage employees standing around the back hallway chatting and not greeting any customers the visit was ok. Food is always good but the service this time was POOR. Got takeout so we didn?t have to interact much with the chatting employees

Me: Had a burning desire for a REALLY good ?sub? sandwich ?. FOUND: @FIREHOUSE SUBS ?? South Frederica location. Owensboro KY. Plentiful parking. Über clean dining facility (restrooms too!). Wonderfully delicious Va. ham sandwich on lightly toasted bread ?. Sub assemblage to my precise order with fresh.Fresh.FRESH! bread, ham, including lettuce, tomato, etc.. Very very tasty??? Yum!!! Cheerfully woke staff. Alert & polite & thoughtful & helpful. Soooo refreshing?!!! Ohhhh yeah,,,,,, We?ll be back. ???

Love there New York Steamer®! I'm sure it's not tooooo healthy! But it's so good! I could probably get it as a salad, but look at this picture and ask yourself, why?!
