First time dining here and we had a great experience. The atmosphere was great, I love a place that dims the lighting for... dinner, there's something about dim lighting that makes people talk quieter and that just makes for a better evening. Our waiterwas fantastic always ontop of things. The food perfect, my wife is extremely picky about her filet, medium well and do notbutterfly it. We are never in a hurry so taking longer for the perfect steak is just fine with us. The chef nailed it! I myselfam all about sea food. Ordered the stuffed grouper which our waiter highly recommended and it was incredible. It was servedover a cheesy risotto and green beans. Meals also come with salad and bread. My first visit to Bistro 70, I was underwhelmed at first. The restaurant was warm, and it felt a bit like we were in a diner. ... We were seated right near the kitchen door which needed a coat of paint. I asked the waiter for a recommendation and hebasically stated he could not recommend anything?.it was awkward. Fortunately, we stayed and had an excellent meal. The chefcame out and checked on how our food tasted. We ordered the brown butter cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert and it wasvery good. A few more classy touches (like cloth tablecloths) could make a difference, but the food did not disappoint. Wewill be back! Read more
