I came in the store to pick up my sandwich I ordered online. Three employees were standing around doing nothing. Obviously I was... confused which sandwich was mine since the delivery orders and pick up orders were right next to each other. I went here today for a sandwich, I ordered the turkey tom and the guy at the register asked if I wanted cheese and I asked is... it extra he said yess so I just said sure I?ll get cheese( which should already be included on the sandwich))oh I forgot theemployees there were sooo LOUD and obnoxious just being teenagers I guess but it?s a bit rude when there is customers orderingas well as people dinning in!! Fast forward to me eating my sandwich only to discover there is NO cheese that I paid extra foron the sandwich!!! I go back inside and the tall Hispanic lady who I guess was the manager who was very rude decided to ask medid I want her to give me a few pieces of cheese on the side to take and put on my sandwich!! When I explained to her I paid forit to be made on my sandwich and now you want to give me cheese to basically make my own sandwich, she then said we?ll just makeyou a new one!! Really disappointed in this location. They delivered my sandwich wrong twice. When I called the second time they offered a... credit for part of the meal. Now a few days later I call to use the credit, they tell me they are busy and to call them in acouple of hours. I definitely do not recommend spending your money on this location. First, I'm a Jimmy John's brand advocate and have made Jimmy John's my lunch go-to for over a decade, as a result I visit Jimmy... John's locations all over the place. This particular Jimmy John's is closest to my house and I would give anything to seeimprovements but it's absolutely terrible. 1) It's beyond slow. Any time of day, any day of the week.. there is ALWAYS a line.Usually a 10 minute wait or so. 2) The unsweetened tea has been rancid on more than one occasion.. not sure what they did to itbut it made both me and my wife sick just smelling it. tasted to confirm it was definitely bad. 3) there is always trash in thefloor behind the counter which is available as soon as you walk in (because of the angle of the room) - papers, meat, lettuce,all over the place back there.. definitely not what you want to see when you walk in. 4) the last few times I went (i don't goto that location any more), they have had no chips. and this was over the period of weeks. Not sure if that's a covid supplyissue or not, but other locations had them. I now drive 4 miles out of the way if i want to go to Jimmy John's to avoid thislocation. I should also mention, I'm a 48 year old male and run my own business and NEVER take the time to write and complainlike this. I'm far from a Karen.. but with that rotten tea the last time I have had it with this location and want to see itmeet Jimmy John's standards for selfish reasons (it's closest to me). UPDATE: Jimmy John's main brand reached out to me and gaveme the contact information for this location - so I filled out the contact form and basically restated this review... 2 monthsago, no response. FYI, there is a Jimmy Johns in Schaumburg (less than 2 miles from this one) that has a drive through andawesome service. Read more
