This is my family's go to breakfast spot. I look forward to eating there. The food is great and so is the staff. Always a... friendly face and so inviting. The kids love the pancakes! I wish we could eat there every weekend. Read more
Small town Cafe with a big heart. The staff is friendly and personable while the food is amazingly good.
We had been meaning to try out Sunshine Cafe since it switched from IHOP, and finally got the chance. It took about twenty... minutes to be sat, but it was a Sunday morning after church. The servers were very prompt and friendly, and had no issue withcustomizing an order. The food was actually really good, way better than back when it was IHOP, despite the menus being prettysimilar. But the kitchen seemed slow, not sure if it was because of the crowd or something else. Prices seemed fairlyreasonable, portions were good, not huge but we still took home leftovers. I have been a customer when they were IHop. Many years. I have a select wait staff I ask for each trip. All of my trips only one... time has the manager talked with me. Monday (Aug 8, 2022) I stopped for breakfast. I requested french toast, two eggs scrambled,bacon, hash browns crispy and coffee. The eggs were super dry and robbery. The hash browns were uncooked inside and dripping inoil. Both were so bad I could not eat. The bacon was over cooked and brittle. The coffee. Apparently they changed to a cheaperbrand and added water to serve more customers. The only thing worth eating was the french toast. I told my server what hadhappened. She said she would talk to the manager. The manager did not come out to talk with me. I thought that wasunprofessional. The manger did not offer to comp my meal. He charged me for the coffee and french toast. He charged me over$7.00 for this. If he would have offered to comp the breakfast I would have refused. But he never gave me the chance. If theycontinue to provide this type of service and this low quality food. They may have to close their doors. Already their hours havebeen cut again. I will not go back because of the way a loyal customer has been treated. I was never looking for a free meal. Ibelieve (if they continue treating their customers to low quality food) they will be closing their doors before the end of thisyear.
