What a special little place! The setting is absolutely beautiful (we sat outside) and the staff was very wonderful and... attentive. I imagine that the owner is always there but she?s a very special lady and I hope other patrons have a chance tointeract with her. Disappointing experience. Had reservations for inside for brunch, but we were seated outside. In addition to the heat, there are... samm flies outside that interfere with the experience. After 20 mins of waiting we were notified that they are out of the itemswe ordered ( croissant and quiche), so we had to order again. Read more

Outdoor dinner during a stay for Joshua Tree National Park. The menu rotates every few weeks. App - mushroom soup with truffle... oil. Chock full of mushroom bits in decent sized bowl. Felt full & was glad there was some rest time before the maincourse. Main - Asian sea bass, which was really a rock/white fish. Generous portion again & the skin was nicely seared & thefennel confit had a pickly taste that nicely balanced out the fish. Dessert - cheesecake with blueberry sauce; perfectly creamywithout it being overly sweet or rich.
