I?m something of a French Onion soup connoisseur. I have traveled across both coasts of the US in search of an authentic recipe... that nails all of the best qualities of this amazing soup. This place gets its. Thick cheese, lightly crisped so that I canscrape it off the edge of my bowl. A boat of toast, insulating the bubbly and perfectly caramelized onions floating below. Theseonions retain their shape and flavor within a savory broth that ensures the minds and captures the senses. Soup is meant to beeaten, but this French Onion soup is meant to be EXPERIENCED. Highly recommend this restaurant. L?Atelier is L?Delicious! TLDR10/10 the soup is great. Read more

Came here for a late brunch on my first trip to Palm Springs. I absolutely loved this place, great food and awesome service.... Waiter had high energy and was very helpful. Small location with limited outdoor seating. For drinks I had vanilla doubleespresso latte, my wife had salted caramel latte and my daughter had a hot chocolate. I ordered the croissant Benedict and mywife and daughter shared the crepes with creme sauce. The croissant was extremely soft and crispy and the Hollandaise sauce wasnot too lemony like some places can be. The ham was very savory. I would highly recommend this place if you love breakfast food. Will definitely come again on next visit to Palm springs Read more

What can I say? What a perfect little cafe. Tiny and intimate, the ideal little set up for a (micro) concept. Food was... exceptional and the service was spot on. The setting (on the Plaza) could not be more perfect. As an industry person, this isthe kind of treasure I love to find and never forget. Reminds me more of Cape Town than Paris, but it is absolutely PalmSprings. Get the Croque Madame - best I've ever had (and I've had many). Brioche, baguette, and all the other baked items werespot on. This is a must visit, but I think timing could be important. Midweek, for a late breakfast / brunch might be theticket. Only (small) disappointment was the wine - lackluster Rose and a smallish pour. With that, I have no complaints. Truly excellent experience! Read more

This has been our 3rd time at this small French style restaurant. This time it was on Friday after thanksgiving and there was a... line waiting to be seated and one waiter dealing with everyone. And yet, it was great! No stress, no pressure, whatever we askedfor, and most was not even in the menu, we got! The croissant salmon Benedict was delicious and we enjoyed every minute in thisquaint little cafe! Read more
