A gem. Called on a busy holiday weekend needing space for a group of 12. Not only was everything perfect, we arrived and the... hostess had reserved the nearest high top table for our two high schoolers to be as near as possible to our group. I finally had a chance to go here and really enjoyed the experience! The people at Tropicale are super friendly and helpful! ... Josh (I hope I read his name properly) was the best! I had the classic Eggs Benedict and it was delicious! I also liked thatthe bread was a blueberry cake with crumbles on top, so much better then your standard bread! My friend who is a local brought us here saying it is one of the best spots. Unfortunately the evening we went for dinner was... an off night. My drink tasted like cilantro instead of a spicy margarita and the food was a block of salt. So with thisexperience why would I recommend it? It is not the normal. Literally everyone says go here it is amazing. The staff isinviting, the menus are creative and you shouldn’t fault a fantastic place because a one off experience. The food was good but the atmosphere is really what this restaurant is about! Cool breezes and huge hills overshadowing you... while you talk with friends is what really sets this place apart, not to mention staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you Tropicale for making my birthday more special.First off upon arrival I was greeted right away by the host Blanca. She... was very friendly and great customer service. The patio was very beautiful and elegant. Dominic went out of his way to make sureeverything was perfect. He recommended some delicious appetizers and drinks and May I say very attentive.Our server Irving wasamazing as well.
