Another Fantastic Night at the Beach House of Gulf Highlands was had by our group! We had 12 instead of 3 this time! Dinner (as... always, no matter what the Chef serves) was delicious- the entree choices were Texas Brisket, Lemon Butter Shrimp, or ChickenMarsala, all were Fantastic! The entertainment was a Very Accomplished Saxophone Player! He kept the crowd entertained theentire dinner time with his incredible music! And we had a Champagne Valentine's Toast To End The Evening! Delicious! My grilled cheese was better than I expected from a beachside cafe! The menu didn?t have a description so I was... pleasantly surprised to find thick sliced bread with at least two kinds of cheese perfectly melted between the slices. I couldtell it was cooked on a flattop grill because the bread was perfectly toasted and had that yummy buttery crispness! It was cutin half on the triangle, and the melted cheese was visible! A nice dusting of herbs and Parmesan cheese was a tasty bonus. Itwas served with a bag of kettle chips. All for just $8.00! My husband had the hotdog and it was definitely a big hit. Servedwith chips. Both of us ate for $20 including the tip! Owned by brothers, it?s the best beach food I?ve ever had! Support localbusinesses before chains! Give these guys a try! I went hoping to get breakfast and coffee. The person there said that they did not serve coffee, of any kind. No iced coffee,... no regular coffee, nothing! The menu has coffee on it. Why serve breakfast if you aren?t going to have coffee to go with it?! And he wasn?t very nice about it either. He acted like I was crazy for asking for coffee. So I left. Not sure if I will goback.
