Still playing the Covid card? I really wish the Hotel Resort would go back to providing room service so that I would not have to... listen to my wife constantly complain while were on vacation. You should consider having the operation of the appliances checkedby a professional. The electric stove only had a couple elements working and the main element would stick on constantlyresulting in burning food and setting off alarms. I took the time to assemble one of the elements back to working order. Thelarge cockroach or palmetto bugs lurching around and sneaking in the room was also a huge problem. This resulted in shaking outevery piece of clothing before we left and again after we got home. We were near a hall way on the ground floor per our wishes. Also nearby was a trash can that was overflowing most of the time. This is going to happen if no room service is available.Well, your night time creatures possums and cats would take turns feasting on what they could. Paying $1800/WK for all this leftme wondering should we look elsewhere on our next vacation. It is a shame to have to feel this way. I also feel very confidentothers feel the very same. We been coming to your hotel for nearly 40 years. We always sided with you and stayed with you whentimes were rough dealing with the storms and Hurricane Opal and Michael etc. All things that are out of your control. The abovementioned is all controllable if managed properly. Read more

I've been staying at the Sandpiper for years and love it. Great staff, amenities. The rooms are always clean. Being right on... the beach is wonderful. The prices during off season are very reasonable. The only complaint I have is they started charging$20 a night for an extra vehicle. There where 6 of us. 4 adults and 2 teenagers. There's no way to only have 1 vehicle with 6people. In the past we've never had to pay for an extra vehicle. $20 a night is a bit pricey. Just my thoughts. Read more

My family of 4 just got home from a 2 day stay at Sandpiper and we had a great time. Our room was a little smaller than the... average hotel room, but there was still plenty of space. 2 full beds, a sofa, mini fridge, microwave, and TV. Very clean andcomfortable, we had no complaints. There are several different pools with varying sizes of water slides, and an indoor pool witha lazy river. Our kids absolutely loved it, as well as the small arcade, ice cream shop, and small puttputt golf course. Wewould be happy to stay here again. Read more

We will not be staying with the Sandpiper beacon again. This was our first stay here and it will most definitely be our last. We... come to PBC twice a year and like to try new things and places out. I advise you to say clear of this one. We checked in andcame up to our room to check everything out, noticing the bedsheets and towels were stained and the shower needed a DEEP clean. We were only given towels to last one day? I called the front desk for more and I was told they?d be up to us in a few minutes-we never received them. I ended up using my personal beach towels to dry off with. The next day, I noticed there washousekeeping next to my room and asked them for a towel and was told rudely to ?call the front desk. That is not my job? I wentdown to the front desk and asked for towels AGAIN and asked when we would receive housekeeping and they said they do not offerit until check-out. (We were there for 5 nights.)We ended up having to take our own trash and dirty towels out because no oneprovided any service us. Fast forward to checkout day- we live close to 9hours away so we wanted to get a head-start. We went tothe lobby around 5am to checkout and she said there was no one to check for damages so we couldn?t get our $200 deposit backuntil someone checked. Overall, we are not pleased with this place in the slightest. I 1000 times recommend the ?Osprey on theGulf? if you?re looking for anywhere to stay. If you like dirty rooms and poor service-you?ve found the right place to stay. Read more

My family and I vacationed there this past week. My husband and I usually come to Panama twice a year and always stay at the... sandpiper beacon resort. My friends have booked a room twice with you all just off our recommendation. This past time though, wewere a little disappointed in things. I couldn?t get a blanket for my son to sleep with, we couldn?t get beach towels becausethey had ?run out ? of those too. The TV in one of the bedrooms quit working, the phone in the room never worked, the microwaveactually cooked things half way, and the bottom of the tub had chunks of material peeling off. The covering for the beds is arough material. The room smelled sour like vinegar. In sitting on the porch I had a great view of the ocean and got to smellpaint and listen to the workers redoing the outside of the 3rd floor room across the way. We were less than impressed. We paid1780$ for four nights in a bigger room than what my husband and I usually get when we don?t have the kids and we just didn?tfeel like it was worth it. We expected more and better. We have been coming to you all for four years. What a shame. Sent thisemail august 6 and no response.. Read more
