Have eaten here twice now, 7 years apart and the service, food, and drink has held up! I had an excellent Pastie both times... since the first time was so good I had to have it again! The kids got hamburgers and they tasted excellent, you could tell theycame right off the grill! Root Beer was excellent as well, great atmosphere with the nature paintings and mounts. Food was ok. The white fish was pretty tasteless and was on a plain bun. I ordered the plate and was brought the sandwich but... rolled with it. Beer was pretty good quality. The service was definitely 2-3 stars. It was not busy. But the staff was moreconcerned with chatting with each other. Getting refills and your ticket then paying was a hassle to be a non peak time.Especially with so many staff working. Would recommend grabbing beer to go and enjoy it at your campsite. Read more
Late afternoon visit. Waited a couple of minutes to get in and found most tables empty. Wait? Must be understaffed like rest of... businesses? Had ribeye done med/rare and gf had cheese ravioli. Both were great. They have Pepsi products too! Unfortunately itwas flat but I like it that way sometimes. This was one of those times. The green beans were garden fresh. I mean they were notreally cooked and were crunchy. Lol my 2nd order they replaced them with was half cooked good and the other half were at leastsoftened a bit to eat. The waitress was very friendly and checked on us often. Over all it was a good experience and lost onestar for the above mentioned. Thank you! Read more
FIRST TIME AT THE FALLS! What a surprise. Truly a magnificent sight. I?ve seen a lot of the other Michigan falls, but this is... THE one. I loved the power you can hear coming off of this! We stopped at the Brew/pub for a quick drink! Cute stop! I got thePorcupine Ale and it was DANK. The shop was super cool too. Lots of typical tourist stuff but with COOL designs. Ended upgetting a shirt. I love getting shirts from places I?ve been. I also left a gift wrapped painting behind! I camp a lot with mypop and his pup. I usually gift my paintings to my mom but I think it?s fun to sprinkle them around Michigan. Anyway! I hopeyou and whoever had just as much, if not more, fun than I!!
